Join us for a taste of winter on the farm! Our Winter Farm Walk is a chance to learn how we do things differently, with a focus on land stewardship and soil health. You will get an interactive and in-depth tour of our farm operations, including visiting our heritage breed cows and an up-close meet and greet with our piglets and layer hens. We’ll show you our egg washing process and our original post and beam barnyard buildings built in the 1800’s, as well as recent improvements and tools that are part of our innovative and sustainable farming approach.
Tours are led by experienced farm staff who are ready to answer your questions. At the end of the tour, registered participants will take home a seasonal farm treat, as well as have the chance to check out our farm store for more high quality local foods and Codman grown proteins.
Each tour will start promptly at 11am from the front of the farm store and will end at 12 noon (or a little later). Please come dressed appropriately for the weather; warm boots that can get dirty are encouraged.
Family-friendly! Kids 8 and under free and must be accompanied by adult.
