In this fifth and final class of our Healthy Soils Series this spring, we’ll be focusing on carbon and how soil can pull and store carbon from the atmosphere! We’ll be looking at the garden as a model for carbon storage as we learn about deeply rooted perennial shrubs, conservation tillage, and composting. We’ll also have some fun, finale happenings for this session! Don’t miss it!
Sign up HERE for May 14th!
Please note: all participants coming to the farm for events in 2022 must fill out THIS WAIVER. Parents, please fill out on behalf of your child(ren). Please bring a completed copy on April 23rd OR be ready to sign and update an existing waiver that we have on file from a previous event this year.
*This workshop will be rain or shine at the farm — we will find indoor spaces if necessary due to rain. Please come dressed appropriately & with footwear that can get muddy. We also ask that folks park along the road. Thank you!
Please consider donating to support this and future workshops. Your financial support will help purchase supplies, soil testing kits, educator fees, and publicity. If you are unable to contribute at this time, please still join us — learning about soils can support healthy soils, too!
