It’s time to tap into your artistic spirit and love of egg-cellent decorations! We’ll be getting crafty in our kitchen at the farm with our guest instructor and artist, Gretjen Helene. Using beeswax, traditional kistka tools, colorful dyes, and Codman raised eggs, we’ll teach you how to make both simple and complicated designs with an old wax resist dyeing technique.
Like all of our Happy Hour classes, we’ll provide some delicious farm snacks as part of this class to celebrate fertility and spring. BYOB.
Class includes all materials needed. We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty or stained.
Gretjen Helene learned pysanky from her mother and has been continuing the tradition since her childhood. She loves putting her camera aside in the spring to teach Pysanky to various art programs in the area.
