Join us at Codman Community Farms for an afternoon of discussing sustainable landscaping practices to use in your own backyard! We will go over the benefits of using native plants and low maintenance practices for both you and your surrounding ecosystem. Participants who have a site in mind to landscape will learn how to survey and prepare for success, and everyone will also take part in a hands-on drafting exercise using our Codman pollinator plot. Whether you are starting from scratch, looking to improve an existing space, or just interested in how you can support our local flora and fauna, this class will provide you with an introduction to building beautiful landscapes that serve you and the land.
All materials will be provided. Class is best suited for ages 15+.
