A Working Farm in the Heart of Lincoln

Founded in 1973 by citizens interested in continuing the farming tradition of Lincoln, CCF is a non-profit agricultural enterprise. It began as a part-time, volunteer operation and over the years has grown, thanks to the myriad of volunteers that helped along the way.

We are passionate about preserving the historic property and maintaining its character as a genuine working farm.  The main farm property sits on 18 acres in the center of Lincoln, with barns dating to the 1700s. We farm an additional 120 acres of fields and pastures located throughout the town of Lincoln, with additional land at Minuteman National Park in Concord.

Lincoln Grown

As a community farm, we are committed to using sustainable farming methods. All our ruminants are 100% grass-fed, which includes any lambs or goats we raise and our closed herd of Red Devon Cattle. We feed our other critters certified organic grain from Green Mountain Feeds which sells only Non-Gmo and certified organic grains. We rotationally graze our livestock through open pastures during the warmer months when the grass is in abundance.

Currently, we raise/grow cows, pigs, lambs (seasonally), laying hens, meat chickens, turkeys, hay, and a growing amount of produce, flowers, and fruit in our market garden.

We are open to the public year-round, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, seven days a week.  All items are sold in our self-serve Farm Store which is open every day of the year.  Depending on the time of year, the barnyard and nearby fields host a variety of poultry, pigs, lambs, cows, and gardens for exploration.

Admission is currently free, but donations are always welcome!

Place your donation in the box inside the barn door or on the digital kiosk terminal in the Farm Store.
