Volunteer

What began as a part-time, volunteer operation has grown enormously over the years, thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who have helped along the way.

Volunteers are always welcome at Codman Community Farms, whether you’re interested in helping in our market garden, grounds maintenance, catching chickens, planting, painting or fixing – we will always try our hardest to find a place for you! (Please note, we have limited opportunities to work directly with our livestock, especially with new volunteers.)

Some people help out on a regular basis, some seasonally and others on a one-time basis. Groups, teams, and individuals are all welcome.

Want to get your hands dirty and get to know the farm a little better? We will be offering regular farm volunteer hours this spring, summer and fall in the market garden. Please bring your own work gloves, water bottle and weather-appropriate clothes, and email us before you plan on coming!
