Learn about the crucial role honeybees and other pollinators play in our ecosystem from a Massachusetts Beekeeper of the Year! Discover how maintaining a backyard beehive can strengthen local bee populations, support pollination and boost community food systems. A sweet and informative session for gardeners, nature lovers and environmental enthusiasts alike. 

This class will be taught by Mel Gadd.

Mel Gadd has been a beekeeper for more than 21 years and leads a major beekeeping program for Mass Audubon, primarily at Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary.
